Rough hands, farmer tans, dirty boots, country roots.

Last week was my first experience at a County Fair here in Baxter County, and this is what I  learned:
It takes a lot of preparation and attention to detail to be a winner.

The contestants need to be put into the right position to catch the judges attention.

The judges are tough but know what they are doing.

The handlers must have nerves of steel and it shows.

The owners are as nervous as the handlers.

At the end of the day the fair is also made out of color and fun.

When the evening ends, everyone is friendly with each other and it is hard to keep their eyes open.
