We recently went to Mammoth Spring in the northern part of Arkansas. It was a wonderful lesson about water. Starting at the National Fish Hatchery we enjoyed the variety of colors of different species at the aquarium.
Just a short drive and we arrived at the Mammoth Spring State Park. Mammoth Spring flows at an average of 9.78 Million Gallons per hour. The mouth of the spring is 70ft deep and it feeds steadily into the scenic spring pool.
The 58 degree water streams into Spring Lake, a paradise for fish and waterfowl, creating a postcard perfect view for visitors.
The waters journey continues by cascading and gushing over the dam next to the mill house,   finding its way further through the Ozark Mountains as one of the many examples that "Water is the most perfect traveler because when it travels it becomes the path itself" - Mehmet Murat Ildan
