The Ozark Folk Center State Park is not only a place to listen to great music but also to meet local artisans practicing their trade. The Crafts Village is home to craftsman and craftswomen showing their skills from making brooms to wooden toys, creating wonderful quilts and pottery, showing how a printshop works, and explaining what a blacksmith does, just to name a few.
They love what they are doing and it shows. All are perfect examples of what Charles Todd meant when he said: "That's the point of working with one's hands. It gives the mind something else to do besides worry".
